Pre-Deployment Briefing for the Naliyagan Festival 2018

The 26th Naliyagan Festival was celebrated on June 12-17, 2017 at Naliyagan Cultural Center, Prosperidad, Agusan del Sur. Influx of people coming from the neighboring municipalities and barangays to witness the week long celebration of socio-cultural and arts exposition of indigenous tribes in the entire Agusan valley and displaying their skills and culture through ritual activities, exhibit of native products, ethnic games and a host of sporting tournaments and special events are expected.

On June 11, 2018 at 8:30AM at Multi-Purpose Hall, Camp Col Rafael C Rodriguez, Butuan City, PCINSP JUDE CRES G MILAN, Regional Police Human Rights Officer, PRO13 conducted Pre-Deployment Briefing to 200 PNP who will be deployed to the aforesaid festival to secure the venue through the “PNP Know Your Rights” mobile application, to always adhere the human rights; follow the legal procedures; and most of all, to abide by the PNP Operational Procedures and United Nations Code of Conduct of Law Enforcement which requires law enforcers to respect, protect human dignity, maintain and uphold the human rights of all persons.
